I just had this wonderful idea and I wanted to be able to do some research if it’s viable and profitable. I thought of creating marketing videos for local and small business and charge them for a small amount of these videos and profit.
I already know that video is one of the fastest ways to get more people to engage in a new brand. This is especially true on Facebook, where the video is now one of the highest content mediums that they are pushing on the social network. And there’s a great reason that it’s the preferred medium of the social networking giant.
It’s because people are mostly using their mobile phones when browsing and purchasing stuff online. And that’s a great opportunity, hook and angle for most local businesses because if you are not yet using video to market your products and services, I’m pretty sure that your competitors will (or maybe some of them are already doing it now).
So if you’re interested in making these marketing videos, here’s the exact process that I took.
The first thing that I do is to look for a profitable niche idea or topic, here’s a detailed guide on how to do just that. After finding a profitable niche idea, I then try to validate this idea as much as possible to decrease my chances of it flopping. While there is no guarantee that your marketing video or chosen niche will be profitable, I find that this step can definitely increase my chances of success.
But in order to do these steps, I need some premium tools that I’ve invested in. It’s not too much, but these tools (SEMRUSH for keyword research) have helped me saved a lot of time and effort. If I try to do this manually or with the use of Free tools out there, I might not be able to find the data that I need. And worse, I might even get the wrong data.
These tools are called keyword research tools. And these tools have their own data mining capabilities so it’s more accurate than the free options out there. Once I’ve identified the profitable keywords that I’d like to go after, I then create the content for that.
I’m not a copywriter, nor a best-selling author. But I write from the heart. I write what I believe in and that’s what I believe makes my articles and writings stand out. There’s no other way around it, you’ll have to practice if you want to become a great writer. Just start now and practice along the way.
Lastly, I need to make sure that there’s a way for me to connect and contact readers who have read my articles and watched my videos. I do that simply through email marketing. Drip has a great way to automate all of this, but if you’re scared of using Drip, you may try a much simpler tool like ConvertKit (read my Convertkit review) and you’ll be able to determine which option is best for you.
Now good luck and make it happen. Start making your own marketing videos and start profiting from it.
